Kawasaki has officially launched the 2025 Ninja ZX-4R in India, priced at Rs 8.79 lakh (ex-showroom). This marks a Rs 30,000 price increase compared to the 2024 model, though the bike remains mechanically unchanged.
Despite the price hike, the Ninja ZX-4R continues to be an appealing choice for riders seeking a compact and high-performance supersport motorcycle. Powered by a 399cc inline-four engine, it delivers 75.9 bhp at 14,500 rpm and 39 Nm of torque at 13,000 rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The bike’s sharp and aggressive design is matched by its performance capabilities. The steel trellis frame, combined with a USD fork and a monoshock, provides a balanced and agile ride. The 17-inch wheels and powerful disc brakes ensure precise handling and confident stopping power.
In terms of features, the Ninja ZX-4R offers a comprehensive package, including LED lighting, traction control, and a TFT display with smartphone connectivity.
While the Ninja ZX-4R is the most expensive 400cc motorcycle in India, it has no direct competition. However, it does compete indirectly with larger and more powerful bikes like the Triumph Daytona 660, which is priced at Rs 9.72 lakh.
