Kia is preparing for a major electric vehicle showcase at its EV Day event on February 27th in Tarragona, Spain. The event promises to be a significant one, with the unveiling of three new electric models.
Headlining the event is the highly anticipated EV4. This model, previously previewed as a concept and frequently spotted in testing, is expected to be released globally in both sedan and hatchback forms. Both versions will showcase Kia’s futuristic “Opposites United” design philosophy, incorporating styling elements inspired by the EV6. While full details will be revealed at the event, it’s speculated that the EV4 may offer battery pack options of 58.3 kWh and 81.4 kWh, potentially paired with a front-mounted motor producing 201 hp (150 kW / 204 PS) and 209 lb-ft (283 Nm) of torque.

Another highlight will be the PV5 van, also previewed by a concept vehicle. The PV5 is expected to boast a striking design, coupled with a practical and adaptable interior.
Rounding out the trio of reveals is the EV2 concept, a compact electric vehicle. Teaser images suggest a crossover design with plastic body cladding and simulated skid plates. Distinctive three-dimensional taillights and a seemingly contrasting black roof are also visible.

A teaser video offers additional insights into the EV2’s design, showcasing a stylish front fascia with vertical lighting units, streamlined bodywork, and muscular accents. The EV Day event promises to provide a comprehensive look at Kia’s electric future, highlighting the brand’s commitment to expanding its EV lineup with innovative and stylish models.
