2025 Vespa Range Launched in India

Piaggio has refreshed its Vespa lineup for 2025 in India, offering a range of scooters with updated styling, new features, and improved performance. Four trims are available: the standard Vespa, the Vespa S, the Vespa Tech, and the Vespa S Tech, along with a special edition, the Vespa Qala. These scooters will be available at authorized dealerships starting February 25, 2025.

The base Vespa model, starting at Rs 1.33 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra), comes in seven color options, including Verde Amabile, Rosso Red, and Pearl White. The Vespa S, available with both 125cc and 150cc engine options and starting at Rs 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra), offers eight colors, including Verde Ambizioso (Matte), Oro, and Giallo Yellow (Matte). Notably, the Vespa S also features a special “Vespa Oro” edition with a unique gold finish.

Piaggio has also introduced two new premium trims: the Vespa Tech and Vespa S Tech. These models, also available with 125cc and 150cc engines, boast keyless ignition, a TFT smart instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, and navigation. The Vespa Tech starts at Rs 1.92 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra) and is offered in Energico Blue and Grigio Grey, while the Vespa S Tech starts at Rs 1.96 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra) and comes in Nero Black (Matte) and Pearl White. The special edition Vespa Qala, inspired by Mehendi designs, will also be available with both engine options.

Performance has been enhanced for both the 125cc and 150cc engines. The 125cc engine now produces 9.5 bhp and 10.1 Nm of torque, while the 150cc engine delivers 11.4 bhp and 11.6 Nm of torque, representing an increase of 0.7 bhp and 0.6 Nm, respectively. The CVT gearbox has also received updates.
