BMW has unveiled its new high-performance station wagon, the M3 CS Touring, just ahead of the Bathurst 12 Hour race in Australia. This exciting new model, however, won’t be available in the United States.

The M3 CS Touring builds upon the already impressive M3 Competition, boasting several performance enhancements. The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine now produces 543 horsepower (405 kW) and 479 lb-ft (650 Nm) of torque, a 20 horsepower increase thanks to a boost pressure increase to 30 psi. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in a brisk 3.5 seconds and reaches 200 km/h (124 mph) in just 11.7 seconds. The standard M Driver’s Package bumps the top speed to 300 km/h (186 mph).

Beyond the engine tweaks, BMW has refined the electronically controlled dampers and added a front strut brace for increased body rigidity. Upgraded brakes are standard, with optional carbon ceramic discs available. The exhaust system features adjustable valves and a titanium rear silencer for a signature M sound.

Weight reduction was a key focus, with a 33-pound (15 kg) loss achieved through the use of carbon fiber for the hood, front splitter, air intakes, mirror caps, and rear diffuser. New 19-inch front and 20-inch rear M light-alloy wheels complete the performance-oriented package.

Visually, the M3 CS Touring sports a redesigned grille with a more open design and sharper lines, while the LED daytime running lights now have a distinctive yellow tint, reminiscent of BMW’s motorsport heritage. A new rear lip spoiler adds to the car’s aggressive stance.

Inside, the M3 CS Touring features electronically adjustable and heated M Carbon bucket seats with illuminated CS badges, along with an M Alcantara steering wheel.
