Skoda has released a teaser image of the facelifted Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe, confirming their digital premiere on January 8th. These popular electric vehicles, based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform, will receive subtle styling updates, improved aerodynamics, and enhanced interior features.
The teaser image reveals a redesigned front end with a slimmer illuminated grille and a new pair of split headlights incorporating advanced LED Matrix technology. The overall design adopts a cleaner look, drawing inspiration from the smaller Enyaq iV. While the front end receives significant attention, the profile and rear end appear largely unchanged.
Interior Upgrades and Enhanced Technology
Skoda has confirmed that the interior will feature upgrades, including the use of more sustainable materials and a significant increase in standard equipment. The teaser video showcases the Sportline versions, hinting at a sportier and more dynamic character. The flagship Enyaq vRS performance variant is also expected to be part of the facelifted lineup.
Improved Range and Performance
While specific technical details remain under wraps, Skoda has confirmed that the facelifted Enyaq will offer an extended range compared to its predecessor. This improvement is attributed to optimized aerodynamics and potential powertrain enhancements. The current Enyaq offers a diverse range of powertrain options, with outputs ranging from 177 hp to 335 hp.
A Year of Celebration
As Skoda celebrates its 130th anniversary this year, the company is expected to unveil a series of exciting new models and updates. The facelifted Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe will undoubtedly play a significant role in the brand’s future, further strengthening its position in the growing electric vehicle market.
