McLaren Launches MCL38 Edition Artura and 750S to Celebrate F1 Victory

McLaren MCL38 Edition

McLaren, a Formula 1 powerhouse second only to Ferrari in historical wins, recently celebrated a significant milestone: their first Constructors’ Championship title since 1998. This victory, achieved in the 2024 season with drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, ended a 26-year drought and marked a remarkable resurgence for the team after years of midfield struggles amidst Mercedes and Red Bull’s dominance.

To commemorate this achievement, McLaren has unveiled an extremely limited edition of its Artura and 750S supercars. Dubbed the MCL38 Edition, after the 2024 F1 car, only 18 units will be produced, split evenly between the two models.

These exclusive cars feature a distinctive livery created by McLaren Special Operations, combining McLaren’s signature Papaya Orange and Anthracite colors. They also showcase a Champions’ Laurel and ‘Nine-Star’ logo, along with an orange bonnet stripe and orange brake calipers.

The interior of the MCL38 Celebration Editions is equally special. The driver’s side features a Visual Carbon Fiber Extended Sill Cover signed by Norris and Piastri, and the seat headrests are adorned with the Champions’ Laurel.

Each of the nine 750S models includes a dedication plaque incorporating a genuine piece of carbon fiber from an MCL38 F1 car. An additional plaque in the bonnet storage area details the MCL38’s pole positions, race wins, and fastest laps from the 2024 season.

He stated that the ultra-exclusive Celebration Edition Artura and 750S are a fitting tribute to the team’s championship victory.

Looking ahead, with significant F1 regulation changes coming in 2026, teams are prioritizing development for the future. This suggests that the 2025 cars will be largely evolutions of their 2024 counterparts. Therefore, barring unforeseen improvements from rivals like Ferrari or Red Bull, McLaren appears well-positioned to contend for both the Drivers’ and Constructors’ championships once again in the upcoming season.
