Hyundai has announced that its highly anticipated Creta EV will make its debut on January 17th, 2025, at the Bharat Mobility Expo. This marks a significant milestone for Hyundai in India, as it will be the third electric vehicle from the brand and the first to be locally manufactured.

Building upon the recently unveiled facelifted Creta with internal combustion engines, the Creta EV will feature distinct design elements to differentiate itself. Expect to see revisions to the front and rear bumpers, a closed-off grille, and newly designed alloy wheels incorporating aerodynamic features.

Inside, the 2025 Hyundai Creta EV promises a modern and tech-focused cabin. Key highlights include a new three-spoke steering wheel, a dual 10.25-inch digital display system, dual-zone climate control, a redesigned center console with convenient features like dual cup holders, and repositioned ventilated seat controls. Additionally, the Creta EV will offer advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and a comprehensive suite of modern amenities such as an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, a 360-degree camera, and a new rotary dial.

Upon its launch, the Creta EV will directly compete with established players in the electric SUV segment, including the MG ZS EV, Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6, BYD Atto 3, and the upcoming Maruti e-Vitara. Under the hood, the Creta EV is expected to be powered by a 60kWh battery pack coupled with a single electric motor, promising an impressive range of approximately 500 kilometers on a full charge.
