Hero Destini 125

Hero MotoCorp is set to unveil the pricing of its much-anticipated Destini 125 scooter at the upcoming 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo. The launch of this stylish 125cc commuter scooter was originally planned for 2024 but faced a slight delay.

Modern Retro Design

The new Destini 125 boasts a striking modern-retro design, featuring a redesigned LED headlight and side panels. A top-spec variant showcases a captivating black shade with tasteful copper accents on the apron, mirrors, side panels, and tail section. The dark brown floorboard and a comfortable, wide seat further enhance its appeal. A notable addition is the pillion grab rail with an integrated, padded backrest, enhancing passenger comfort.

Features and Performance

The Destini 125 comes equipped with a digital instrument cluster featuring Bluetooth connectivity and navigation for added convenience. Powering the scooter is a 125cc engine delivering 9 bhp at 7,000 RPM and 10.4 Nm of torque at 5,500 RPM, mated to a CVT transmission.

Chassis and Suspension

The scooter rides on a robust chassis, supported by a telescopic fork at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. Notably, the Destini 125 shares the same alloy wheels as the Hero Xoom, adding to its sporty character. Braking duties are handled by a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear, with the entry-level variant likely featuring drum brakes at both ends.

Expected Price and Competition

The Hero Destini 125 is expected to be priced competitively between Rs. 80,000 and Rs. 85,000 (ex-showroom). Upon launch, it will directly compete with established players in the 125cc scooter segment, such as the Suzuki Access 125 and the TVS Jupiter 125.

Key Specifications:

  • Displacement: 125 cc
  • Power: 9 bhp
  • Torque: 10.4 Nm
  • Mileage (Claimed): 59 kmpl

The upcoming launch of the Hero Destini 125 is eagerly anticipated, with its stylish design, modern features, and competitive pricing expected to make it a strong contender in the Indian scooter market.
