Ola Electric is set to expand its portfolio with the introduction of three electric motorcycles—Roadster, Roadster X, and Roadster Pro. CEO Bhavish Aggarwal recently shared his excitement after riding the production-ready Roadster, describing the experience as “exhilarating.” These electric bikes, already launched, are offered in three variants based on battery capacity: Roadster 3.5 kWh, Roadster 4.5 kWh, and Roadster 6 kWh, priced at ₹1,04,999, ₹1,19,999, and ₹1,39,999 (ex-showroom), respectively. Bookings for these models began last year, and deliveries are scheduled to commence in March 2025.
The Roadster X is positioned as an entry-level offering with smaller battery options, while the Roadster Pro caters to premium buyers with a larger 16 kWh battery pack—the largest available in India’s electric motorcycle segment. All three models share the same platform but differ in features and specifications. The base Roadster X’s top-spec variant comes with a 4.5 kWh battery, while the standard Roadster and Roadster Pro have top-spec options of 6 kWh and 16 kWh, respectively.
Powered by a 13 kW electric motor, the Roadster offers varying top speeds, acceleration, and range across its variants. The base Roadster 3.5 kWh provides a certified range of 151 km, the mid-spec model offers 190 km, and the top-spec variant boasts an impressive 248 km per charge under the Indian Driving Cycle (IDC).

Despite the excitement, Ola Electric faces skepticism due to past issues with its S1 Pro scooters, including customer complaints about poor build quality. The company is under investigation by the Central Consumer Protection Authority for over 10,000 grievances, although Ola claims to have resolved 99% of them. These challenges have affected Ola’s market share, with competitors like TVS and Bajaj Auto gaining ground.
