Ather Energy has begun production of its much-anticipated Rizta electric scooter, with deliveries expected to commence very soon. This exciting development comes just two months after the official launch of the Rizta in April 2024.

Previously, Ather’s offerings catered primarily to young riders with their sporty aesthetics. The Rizta, however, marks a significant shift towards the family scooter segment. This new model boasts a mature and subtle design, perfect for everyday commutes and errands.

The Rizta isn’t just about aesthetics; it prioritizes practicality as well. Compared to the existing Ather 450 lineup, the Rizta offers significantly more storage space. A massive 34-litre underseat cavity provides ample room for helmets, groceries, or other essentials. Additionally, Ather complements this with a convenient 22-litre flexible frunk, further enhancing storage capabilities.

Rizta Variants: Tailored to Your Needs

The Ather Rizta caters to diverse needs with two distinct variants: S and Z. Each variant offers unique features, battery capacities, and price points.

Rizta S: This variant comes equipped with a 2.9kWh battery, delivering a claimed range of 105 kilometers on a single charge. It’s the most affordable option, making it ideal for riders with shorter commutes.
Rizta Z: This variant offers more flexibility with two battery options: a 2.9kWh and a larger 3.7kWh. The 2.9kWh variant boasts the same range as the Rizta S, while the 3.7kWh battery extends the range, perfect for longer journeys.

The Ather Rizta S starts at an attractive price of Rs. 1,09,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The Rizta Z variants are priced slightly higher, with the 2.9kWh and 3.7kWh models costing Rs. 1,24,999 and Rs. 1,44,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), respectively.
