Automakers are working to bring affordable electric vehicles to market. Recently, Vietnamese automaker VinFast filed the patent for its new VF 3 electric car in India. However, the company has not yet clarified when it will launch the car here.
Up to 210 km of range on a single battery charge
According to media reports, this is the company’s entry-level vehicle and is said to have a range of up to 210 km on a single battery charge. It competes with the MG Comet EV in its segment. This stylish car comes in attractive colors for the new generation, including yellow, red, and other bright options. It will also be available in a two-tone option.
16-inch alloy wheels with high ground clearance
The VF 3 EV will be a two-door car with four seats and appears square from the front. The length of the car is 3190 mm, the width is 1679 mm and the height is 1622 mm. Its wheelbase is announced at 2,075 mm, which makes it easier to control. This is the company’s mini SUV with a ground clearance of 191 mm. This stylish car is offered with 16-inch alloy wheels.
VF 3 EV Battery Performance and Charging Options
The VF 3 EV will have an integrated electric motor. This engine will produce 43.5 HP of power and 110 Nm of torque. It will be available with an 18.64 kW battery. Currently only one variant is offered. It will offer fast and normal charging options. With the fast charger, this car can be charged to 70% in 36 minutes.
Automatic transmission is available
This car is estimated to be available in the market for Rs 11,000 ex-showroom. If we talk about the MG Comet EV, it is available at Rs 7.52 lakh ex-showroom. The MG Comet EV offers a range of up to 230 km on a single charge. It is a four-seater and has a 17.3 kWh battery.
