BMW has refreshed its all-electric iX SUV for the global market, enhancing its range and power. The updated iX is available in three trims: xDrive45, xDrive60, and the performance-oriented M70 xDrive.
In India, BMW currently offers the xDrive40 and xDrive50 versions. It’s likely the xDrive45 and xDrive60 will replace these existing models. Given the trend of luxury automakers introducing high-performance variants in India, the M70 xDrive could also make its way to the Indian market.
The iX facelift sports subtle design changes, particularly at the front. It features more vertical design elements, including redesigned LED daytime running lights and air intakes. The signature kidney grille remains, now with an illuminated option similar to other recent BMW models. The iX rides on striking 22-inch alloy wheels and features flush door handles. The rear showcases sleek LED taillights and blacked-out bumper elements for a sportier look. An optional M Sport Package adds a more athletic appearance, and new exterior colors are available, including several metallic and frozen finishes.

The iX’s interior maintains its premium and minimalist design, with dual displays dominating the dashboard. The infotainment system now runs on the latest Operating System 8.5. The optional M Sport package adds M multifunction seats, an M leather steering wheel, M badging, dark silver trim, M pedals, and a gloss black finish on the center console. Standard features include adaptive LED headlights, comfort access, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a Harman Kardon surround sound system. Optional features include a panoramic glass roof, soft-close doors, ventilated seats, and a Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system.
