Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition, a special edition motorcycle inspired by the grueling Dakar Rally. Priced at Rs. 1.67 lakh, this off-roader is now available for bookings starting December 18th.  

The Dakar Edition distinguishes itself with a unique livery featuring the iconic Dakar logo prominently displayed on the fuel tank, alongside special Hero graphics adorning the side panels. While the core bodywork remains unchanged, the Dakar Edition boasts a striking visual identity.  

Built for rugged terrain, the bike features an adjustable telescopic front suspension offering 250mm of travel, ensuring impressive ground clearance at 270mm. Enhancing rider control, the Dakar Edition incorporates three selectable ABS modes, allowing riders to tailor the level of anti-lock braking intervention to suit varying riding conditions.

Powering the Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition is a 199.6cc, single-cylinder engine that delivers a robust 18.9bhp and 17.35Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox, providing smooth and efficient power delivery.  

The bike rides on a sturdy combination of a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel, both shod with wire-spoke rims. Braking duties are handled by a disc brake at both ends.  

With bookings commencing on December 18th, Hero MotoCorp is expected to begin deliveries of the Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition shortly after.
