Steelbird Hi-Tech India has expanded its product line with the introduction of a new vintage-inspired helmet series. This stylish and functional collection encompasses three models: SBH-54, SBH-55, and SBH-56, priced between Rs. 959 and Rs. 1199.
Commenting on the launch, Rajeev Kapur, Managing Director of Steelbird Helmets, emphasized the critical importance of rider safety: “India unfortunately witnesses a high rate of road accidents, with two-wheelers disproportionately affected. At Steelbird, we believe that safety should never compromise on style. Our new SBH Vintage series offers riders helmets that not only adhere to stringent global safety standards but also possess a unique and appealing vintage aesthetic.”
The Steelbird Vintage Series: A Blend of Style and Safety
The SBH Vintage series prioritizes both style and safety. The helmets feature a robust thermoplastic shell that effectively absorbs impact while maintaining a lightweight design. A high-density EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) liner further enhances rider protection by effectively dissipating impact energy. To complement the vintage aesthetic, the helmets are equipped with a durable polycarbonate (PC) anti-scratch visor finished in a stylish chrome.
Riders can personalize their look by choosing from three distinct visor options: a small visor, a longer visor, or the option to ride visor-less. A distinctive leather strap at the rear adds a touch of classic charm, while the comfortable and snug interior ensures a secure and comfortable fit during extended rides. The convenient quick-release micro-metric buckle allows for easy and secure fastening and removal of the helmet.
As half-face helmets, the SBH Vintage series offers a balance of ventilation and head protection. The series is available in three sizes: Medium (580mm), Large (600mm), and X-Large (620mm), catering to a wide range of head sizes.
