Voge Unveils RR500: A Bold Challenger to the Kawasaki ZX-4RR

Voge RR500 Sportbike

Chinese motorcycle manufacturer Voge has leaked its upcoming sportbike, the RR500, ahead of its global debut later this year. This exciting new model is poised to challenge the dominance of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR in the middleweight sportbike segment.

According to recently surfaced Chinese type-approval documents, the Voge RR500 will be powered by a potent 475cc, inline-four-cylinder engine. Internally codenamed LX500GS-2, the leaked images offer a comprehensive preview of the bike’s design, including its striking graphics and color schemes.

The RR500 boasts a distinctive, albeit somewhat polarizing, aesthetic. The most prominent feature is an air intake positioned above the twin headlights, giving the motorcycle’s front end a unique, albeit somewhat unconventional, appearance. This distinctive styling is complemented by flowing side fairings incorporating integrated winglets and a sharply raked tail section, emphasizing the bike’s sporty character.

The type-approval documents reveal that the 475cc engine produces an impressive 76 horsepower, a figure that rivals the output of the larger Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R. With a kerb weight of 192 kilograms and a claimed top speed of 220 kilometers per hour, the RR500 promises exhilarating performance.

Currently under development, the Voge RR500 is expected to make its global debut later in 2025, marking a significant entry for the Chinese manufacturer into the competitive middleweight sportbike market.
