Uttar Pradesh Police Arrest Two Youths After Viral Video Shows Dangerous Stunt in Bolero

Uttar Pradesh police arrested two youths after a video went viral showing them performing a dangerous stunt in a Bolero car with “Magistrate” written on it, on National Highway 9 in Ghaziabad. The vehicle, which had a siren installed on top, reportedly belonged to the Naib Tehsildar of the Ghaziabad Development Authority.

The viral video showed the SUV speeding through traffic while one youth hung dangerously out of the passenger-side window. Another individual recorded the entire incident from a car in front. The clip, shot at night in the Vijay Nagar area of Ghaziabad, caused widespread outrage on social media due to the reckless behavior displayed.

Upon investigation, police discovered that one of the youths involved in the stunts was a minor. The police also noted that the Bolero used for the stunt had completed its 10-year lifespan as a diesel vehicle, which, under Delhi-NCR rules, should no longer be on the road.

Authorities took swift action, issuing a fine of Rs 25,000 for the misuse of the vehicle. The youths were arrested for endangering public safety and violating traffic laws. A police officer stated, “The SUV, which had ‘UP Police’ written on it, was being misused by the two youths who performed stunts on National Highway 9.”

The police have filed a case and are conducting a thorough investigation to determine how the youths gained access to the vehicle. Authorities are also looking into the circumstances leading up to the dangerous acts and whether any further legal action is necessary.

This incident highlights the growing concern of reckless behavior on highways and the misuse of official vehicles, further prompting calls for stricter enforcement of road safety laws.

In a separate incident, Ghaziabad police arrested a prime suspect in a case of sexual assault involving a minor in the Brij Vihar area. The victim’s father filed a complaint accusing a person from another community of sexual assault and physical violence. Authorities are continuing the investigation and have assured swift justice for the victim.

Both incidents emphasize the importance of law enforcement in maintaining safety and order in the region, especially concerning misuse of vehicles and crimes against minors.
