Ola Electric has officially announced the launch date for its Roadster X electric motorcycle: February 5, 2025. The announcement came through the company’s social media channels. Ola previously indicated that deliveries of the Roadster X would commence in mid-February 2025. Production photos released earlier this year showcased the Roadster X in its initial production stages at Ola’s manufacturing facility.
The Roadster X, along with other models in the Roadster lineup, was unveiled in 2024, with pricing details also revealed. The Roadster X will be available in three variants, differentiated by battery capacity and performance:
Variant | Battery Pack | Price (ex-showroom) | Top Speed | Claimed Range |
Ola Roadster X 2.5kWh | 2.5 kWh | Rs 74,999 | 105 kmph | 117 km |
Ola Roadster X 3.5kWh | 3.5 kWh | Rs 84,999 | 117 kmph | 159 km |
Ola Roadster X 4.5kWh | 4.5 kWh | Rs 99,999 | 124 kmph | 200 km |
The Roadster X is constructed on a dual-cradle frame and features a telescopic fork front suspension and twin shock absorbers at the rear. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tires. Braking is accomplished via a front disc brake and a rear drum brake.
Positioned as Ola’s entry-level electric motorcycle, the Roadster X offers an accessible entry point to the company’s electric two-wheeler lineup. Customers seeking higher performance can opt for the Ola Roadster and Roadster Pro. Deliveries for the Roadster are scheduled to begin in March 2025, while the Roadster Pro deliveries are expected to start in January 2026.
