The Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara, showcased in its production-ready form at the 2025 Auto Expo, is nearing its launch in India, with offline bookings already underway in select cities. Details about the battery pack and motor options for each variant have emerged ahead of the official price announcement. The e-Vitara will be available in three trims: Delta, Zeta, and Alpha.

Two battery pack options will be offered: a 49 kWh pack and a 61 kWh pack, both paired with a front-wheel-drive electric motor. The 49 kWh battery delivers 144 PS of power, while the 61 kWh pack produces 174 PS. Both configurations share the same peak torque output of 192.5 Nm. Maruti claims a range exceeding 500 km for the e-Vitara. Charging capabilities include 7 kW AC charging and up to 70 kW DC fast charging.

In terms of design, the e-Vitara adopts a rugged SUV aesthetic. The front features distinctive Y-shaped LED daytime running lights, a closed-off grille with a sleek black element merging into the LED headlights, and an aggressively styled bumper incorporating fog lights. The profile showcases prominent wheel arches and 18-inch alloy wheels. The rear door handles are integrated into the C-pillar, and the rear features three-piece LED taillights connected by a gloss black trim.

The interior of the e-Vitara boasts a minimalist dashboard design, highlighted by dual integrated displays for the touchscreen infotainment system and the digital driver’s display.

The e-Vitara is expected to come equipped with features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a 10.1-inch digital driver’s display, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, multi-color ambient lighting, and a fixed glass roof. Safety features will include seven airbags as standard, and the e-Vitara will be the first Maruti model to offer Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

The Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara is anticipated to be priced from around Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom) and will compete with the Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV, and Mahindra BE.6.
