Despite a decline in all-electric vehicle sales in Europe, automakers are pressing forward with their electrification plans. Peugeot, a prominent French automaker, is set to showcase its new e-3008 and e-5008 crossover SUVs at the 2024 Paris Motor Show. These models offer a compelling combination of range, efficiency, and performance.
Extended Range and Efficiency
One of the standout features of the new e-3008 and e-5008 is their impressive range. The e-3008 boasts a maximum range of 700 km (WLTP), while the e-5008 can travel up to 668 km on a single charge. This surpasses the range offered by competitors like the Tesla Model Y, making the Peugeot models a more practical choice for long-distance travel.
Optimized Charging Times
The e-3008 and e-5008 feature a new battery pre-conditioning system that optimizes charging times during long journeys. With support for up to 160 kW DC charging, the vehicles can recharge from 20 to 80% in just 27 minutes. Additionally, a quick 10-minute charge can provide enough energy for a 150-km trip.
Powerful Performance
The e-3008 and e-5008 offer a choice of two powertrain options: a 157 kW (210 ps) unit with a range of 527 km and a 170 kW (230 ps) unit with a range of 502 km. The more powerful option provides a thrilling driving experience while still delivering impressive efficiency.
Spacious Interior and Premium Features
The e-5008 offers a spacious interior with seating for seven passengers, making it a versatile option for families or those who frequently carry passengers. Both models are equipped with a range of premium features and advanced technologies.
Comprehensive Warranty
Peugeot backs the e-3008 and e-5008 with its Allure Care warranty program, which covers the entire vehicle, including the electric motor, charger, transmission, and key electrical and mechanical components, for up to 8 years or 160,000 kilometers.
