Toyota Innova Hycross ZX and ZX(O) Variants Back on Order Books

Toyota Innova Hycross

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has reopened bookings for the highly sought-after top-end variants of its Innova Hycross MPV. After facing overwhelming demand that outstripped production capacity, the automaker had temporarily halted bookings for the ZX and ZX(O) grades earlier this year.

Launched in November 2022, the Innova Hycross quickly gained popularity for its blend of comfort, technology, and fuel efficiency. The strong-hybrid powertrain, in particular, resonated with buyers looking for a balance of performance and economy. However, the unprecedented demand for the top-spec models led to extended waiting periods, prompting Toyota to temporarily pause bookings to align production with customer expectations.

Resuming Bookings and Addressing Customer Needs

Toyota has now successfully streamlined its production process to cater to the increased demand for the Innova Hycross ZX and ZX(O) variants. The decision to reopen bookings is a testament to the company’s commitment to meeting customer expectations and providing a wide range of product options.

Sabari Manohar, Vice President of Sales, Service, and Used Car Business at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, expressed the company’s enthusiasm for resuming bookings and reiterated its dedication to customer satisfaction. He acknowledged the patience of customers who had to wait and assured them that the reopening of bookings would enhance their driving experience.

Innova Hycross: A Strong Contender

The Innova Hycross is built on Toyota’s TNGA platform, known for its robust and efficient engineering. The MPV’s strong-hybrid powertrain combines a 2.0-liter petrol engine with an electric motor, delivering a claimed fuel efficiency of 23.24 kmpl. The combined power output of 186 hp ensures ample performance for both city driving and highway cruising.
