Kia is set to introduce its new compact SUV, the Syros, on December 19th. This new model will slot between the Sonet and Seltos in Kia’s Indian lineup. While the official pricing will be announced at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in Delhi, Kia has already released teasers offering a glimpse of its features.
The Syros will boast a modern and stylish design, highlighted by triple-beam LED headlights, L-shaped LED DRLs, a panoramic sunroof, and flush-type door handles. Inside, the cabin will be equipped with a range of features, including a large touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charging pad, multiple charging ports, a multi-functional steering wheel, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.
In terms of powertrain options, the Syros is likely to be offered with a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. Transmission choices will include a manual and an automatic gearbox.
Kia is aiming to position the Syros as a spacious and feature-rich compact SUV. With its expected launch in January 2025, the Syros is poised to make a significant impact in the Indian market. Kia may even consider adding hybrid and electric variants to the Syros lineup in the future.
