Honda is gearing up to unveil its first electric scooter for the Indian market, the Honda Activa Electric. The company has started teasing the upcoming scooter on social media, showcasing its distinctive bar-type LED headlight mounted on the front apron.

While the exact specifications and features are still under wraps, expectations are high for a feature-rich electric scooter that aligns with Honda’s reputation for quality and reliability. The electric Activa is rumored to offer performance comparable to the popular Activa 110 petrol scooter, making it a suitable choice for daily commutes and family use.

In terms of range, the electric Activa is expected to deliver around 100 kilometers on a single charge, keeping pace with other leading electric scooters in the market. The scooter is likely to be equipped with a digital display supporting Bluetooth connectivity, LED lighting, and other modern features.

To accommodate the electric powertrain, Honda is expected to optimize the frame design to house the battery and motor. The suspension setup is likely to include a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear, while braking duties will be handled by a disc brake upfront and a drum brake at the rear.

In terms of pricing, the Honda Activa Electric is anticipated to be competitively priced, aligning with other popular electric scooters like the TVS iQube, Ather 450X, and Bajaj Chetak.
