At the recent Bharat Mobility Expo, Goldmedal Electricals, a leading Indian electrical company, unveiled a groundbreaking mobile showroom that stole the show. Designed by renowned automotive designer Dilip Chhabria, the futuristic vehicle draws inspiration from spacecraft, blending innovative design with cutting-edge technology.
This unique creation, a far cry from traditional mobile showrooms, boasts an aerodynamic and curvaceous exterior with a large glass front and fully enclosed wheels. The Satin Matte finish, accented with vibrant red highlights and Goldmedal branding, creates a striking visual impact. The vehicle’s bodywork, meticulously crafted using 700 molds and aviation-grade composites, exudes a sense of luxury and sophistication.

A Mobile Showroom Reimagined
Stepping inside, visitors are greeted by a blend of practicality and futuristic aesthetics. While the front section retains a relatively standard bus-like dashboard, the rear section transforms into a captivating display space.
The vehicle incorporates three hydraulic expansion sections – two on the sides and one at the rear – that extend outward, creating additional space to showcase Goldmedal’s extensive product range. These expandable sections differentiate the Goldmedal showroom from traditional motorhomes, which typically focus on expanding living areas.
The interior is meticulously designed with over 10,000 adjustable LEDs, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere. Special compartments along the side walls display a wide range of Goldmedal products, including wiring devices, home automation systems, LED lighting, and more. A dedicated lounge area and a mini bar further enhance the customer experience.
A Significant Investment in Innovation
This ambitious project underscores Goldmedal Electricals’ commitment to innovation and customer engagement. The company invested a substantial ₹180,000,000 ($2 million) in the development of this unique mobile showroom.
Following its debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo, the futuristic showroom will embark on a nationwide tour, showcasing Goldmedal’s products to potential customers across India. This innovative approach to brand promotion is expected to generate significant awareness and drive business growth for the company.
