Tata Motors, the Indian automaker, has recently made a subtle change to its popular micro-SUV, the Punch. The company has discontinued certain variants of the Adventure trim level, which was previously offered in multiple configurations.
This decision comes as Tata Motors prepares to launch a facelifted version of the Punch in the coming year. The refreshed model is expected to feature significant design updates, both inside and out, drawing inspiration from the recently unveiled Punch EV.
The Tata Punch, which has been a sales sensation in the Indian market, offers a range of trims to cater to diverse customer preferences. However, the discontinuation of the Adventure variants signifies a strategic move by Tata Motors to streamline its product lineup.
The Punch is powered by a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering 87 horsepower and 115 Nm of torque. This engine can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. A factory-fitted CNG kit is also available, offering 72.5 horsepower and 103 Nm of torque, exclusively with a 5-speed manual transmission.
With its stylish design, practical features, and competitive pricing, the Tata Punch continues to be a strong contender in the Indian automotive market. As the company prepares to introduce the facelifted model, customers can anticipate further enhancements and innovations.
