Kia India has officially unveiled the pricing for the new-generation Carnival MPV. The premium people mover is making a comeback in India with a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 63.90 lakh. Customers can book the Carnival in two variants – Limousine and Limousine Plus – and expect deliveries to begin in the coming months.
Launched alongside the Kia EV9, the Carnival is packed with features, including a dual single-pane electric sunroof, twin 12.3-inch displays for the infotainment and instrument panel, powered and ventilated front seats, powered rear doors, a 360-degree surround camera with blind spot monitor, three-zone climate control, a 12-speaker premium music system, and a Level 2 ADAS suite.
The exterior of the new Carnival boasts a refreshed design with a new grille, vertically stacked LED headlamps, inverted L-shaped LED DRLs, contrast-colored skid plates, an LED light bar on the tailgate, new alloy wheels, fresh roof rails, and a shark fin antenna.
Under the hood, the Carnival remains powered by the same 2.2-liter diesel engine mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. This engine produces 197 horsepower and 440 Nm of peak torque and sends power to the rear wheels. Notably, Kia India has already received over 2,796 bookings for the Carnival MPV, indicating strong demand for this premium people mover.
