Key features include a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, a 14-speaker Bose sound system, roof-mounted AC vents, and multiple 100W USB-C ports. Notably, the first row features massaging functionality, while the second-row seats can swivel.
Safety is paramount, with the Ioniq 9 equipped with 10 airbags and an advanced suite of driver-assistance systems (ADAS) featuring multiple cameras and sensors.
Platform, Battery, and Performance:
The Ioniq 9 is underpinned by the E-GMP modular platform, shared with the Kia EV9. It offers two trims: Long Range and Performance, both powered by a 110.3kWh battery pack.
- Long Range: Available in both RWD and AWD configurations. The RWD version delivers 218 bhp and 350 Nm of torque, while the AWD variant adds 95 bhp and 255 Nm from the front axle.
- Performance: This top-spec variant offers 218 bhp on both axles for enhanced performance.
Hyundai claims a maximum range of 620 km on a single charge for the Long Range RWD trim.
The Indian debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo will provide a significant opportunity for Indian consumers to experience the Ioniq 9 firsthand and gain insights into its potential availability in the market.
