Maruti Suzuki India has introduced a Limited Edition of its popular Celerio hatchback in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom), this special edition offers enhanced aesthetics with free accessories worth Rs 11,000.

Cosmetic Upgrades and Limited Availability

This limited-time offer, valid until December 20, 2024, follows closely on the heels of the Dream Series edition launched earlier this year. Maruti Suzuki aims to capitalize on year-end buyer sentiment by offering attractive value additions. The Limited Edition Celerio features cosmetic enhancements such as an exterior body kit, side moldings with chrome inserts, and a roof-mounted spoiler. The package is further complemented by door sill guards and custom floor mats.

Powertrain and Fuel Efficiency

The Celerio continues to be powered by a 1.0-liter three-cylinder K-series engine, available in both petrol and CNG variants. The petrol engine delivers 66 bhp and 89 Nm of torque, while the CNG variant produces 56 bhp and 82.1 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and an AMT.

Known for its fuel efficiency, the Celerio boasts impressive mileage figures. The petrol variant with manual transmission achieves up to 25.24 kmpl, while the AMT version delivers an even higher 26.68 kmpl. The CNG variant further enhances fuel efficiency with a claimed mileage of 34.43 km/kg.
