Lynk & Co has officially unveiled its highly anticipated flagship SUV, the 900. Following a recent preview, the six-seater SUV is set to make its market debut in China in March. The 900 will be offered with a choice of three powerful plug-in hybrid powertrains, though pricing and availability in other markets remain to be announced.
A Technological Marvel
The 900 boasts a truly impressive technological showcase. A prominent 30-inch 6K floating display dominates the dashboard, integrating the infotainment system and a dedicated passenger display. This is complemented by a 12.66-inch digital instrument cluster and a head-up display.
Luxury features abound, including two wireless charging pads, a two-spoke steering wheel, ambient lighting, and floating armrests on the door panels. The technological experience extends to the second row, with a small display on the back of the center console and a second 30-inch 6K display that folds down from the headliner. To further enhance passenger comfort, the second row includes a convenient slide-out refrigerator.
Powerful Plug-in Hybrid Powertrains
All versions of the 900 utilize Geely’s SPA Evo platform and are powered by plug-in hybrid powertrains.
- Entry-Level PHEV: Combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a 215 hp front motor and a 308 hp rear motor, delivering a combined output of 710 hp.
- Mid-Range PHEV: Features a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, a 165 hp front motor, and a 308 hp rear motor, resulting in a combined output of 724 hp.
- Top-of-the-Line PHEV: Equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, a 165 hp front motor, and two 215 hp rear motors, delivering an impressive combined output of 845 hp.
The top-of-the-line model boasts exceptional acceleration, reaching 100 km/h in just 4 seconds.
The Lynk & Co 900 represents a significant advancement in automotive technology, offering a unique blend of luxury, performance, and cutting-edge technology. While its availability in markets outside of China remains to be confirmed, the 900 certainly sets a new benchmark for the brand.
