Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer, Ather Energy, has launched an updated range of its popular 450 series, comprising the 450S, 450X, and 450 Apex. The new models are now available for bookings online and at Ather Energy dealerships, with deliveries expected to commence shortly.

The updated 450 range boasts several enhancements, including improved range, new features, and a refreshed color palette. The 450S now offers a claimed range of 105 km with a 2.9 kWh battery pack and features a more powerful 375W charger for faster charging.

The 450X is available with two battery options: a 2.9 kWh unit for a 105 km range and a larger 3.7 kWh unit for a 130 km range. The top-of-the-line 450 Apex also utilizes a 3.7 kWh battery pack, delivering a 130 km range and boasting a more powerful 7 kW motor.

  • Improved Range: Increased range for all models, with the 450S now offering a claimed range of 105 km.
  • Enhanced Performance: The 450X and 450 Apex feature a 7 kW motor and advanced traction control with three modes: Rain, Road, and Rally.
  • New Features: Introduction of MagicTwist active regenerative braking system across all models.
  • Refreshed Aesthetics: New color options, including Hyper Sand (exclusive to 450X) and Stealth Blue, enhance the visual appeal.
  • Advanced Software: Atherstack 6 software update introduces Google Maps integration, Alexa support, and WhatsApp notifications.
  • Enhanced Warranty: Eight70 warranty offers coverage for up to 8 years or 80,000 km, along with 70% battery health assurance for up to 8 years.
