After months of anticipation, Hero MotoCorp has finally unveiled a teaser of their upcoming larger XPulse 210 motorcycle. The bike is set to make its official debut at the prestigious 2024 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan.
Recently spotted undergoing rigorous testing in the Himalayas, the new XPulse 210 represents a modest upgrade from the current Xtreme 2004V. While many adventure touring enthusiasts had hoped for a more significant leap to the 400cc+ segment, the XPulse 210 still promises to offer a capable and exciting riding experience.
Under the hood, the XPulse 210 will feature the same 210cc liquid-cooled engine found in the Karizma XMR. This engine delivers a respectable power output of 25.15 bhp and 20.4 Nm of torque. Hero MotoCorp is likely to make specific tuning adjustments to optimize the engine’s performance for adventure riding. Additionally, the bike may receive technical upgrades such as a six-speed transmission and a redesigned exhaust system with improved water-wading capabilities.

While the XPulse 210 addresses some of the limitations of its predecessor, particularly on highways, it falls short of entering the mid-capacity adventure motorcycle segment currently dominated by competitors. However, Hero MotoCorp may offer a Pro or Rally version with adjustable suspension and off-road tires, positioning the XPulse 210 as a compelling dual-purpose alternative to bikes like the recently unveiled Kawasaki KLX-230S.
In terms of pricing, the new Hero Xtreme 210 is expected to be priced between ₹7,000 and ₹10,000 higher than the current XPulse 4V, which retails at ₹1.47 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
