Bajaj Auto Discontinues CT 125X Motorcycle in India

Bajaj CT 125X

Bajaj Auto has recently discontinued the CT 125X motorcycle in the Indian market. This decision follows the recent discontinuation of the Pulsar F250 and Platina 110 ABS, indicating a strategic streamlining of the company’s product portfolio. The CT 125X is no longer listed on the official Bajaj Auto website, confirming its removal from production.

The company attributed the discontinuation of the CT 125X to low sales figures and insufficient customer demand. Positioned above the CT110X in the rugged commuter segment, the CT 125X offered 125cc performance at a price point closer to 110cc motorcycles.

Powered by a 124.4cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, the CT 125X generated 10.7bhp and 11Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox. This move by Bajaj Auto highlights the competitive nature of the Indian two-wheeler market and the company’s focus on optimizing its product lineup to cater to evolving customer preferences and market demands.
