Honda Opens Pre-Bookings for Activa e: and QC1, Prices Soon

Honda ACTIVA e: and QC1

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has commenced pre-bookings for its upcoming electric scooters, the Activa e: and the QC1. Customers can now place their orders at select dealerships in major cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, and Delhi by paying a token amount of Rs 1,000.

The Activa e:, adapted from the European-market CUV e:, utilizes two 1.5kWh removable battery packs, offering a claimed IDC range of 102 km. However, its reliance on Honda’s nascent battery swapping infrastructure might pose a limitation for some customers.

The QC1, on the other hand, features a single 1.5kWh fixed battery pack, powering a hub-mounted motor that delivers 1.8 kW. With a claimed top speed of 50 kph and an IDC range of 80 km, the QC1 is positioned as a more budget-friendly option.

Both scooters share a similar design language and color palette, but the Activa e: boasts a more premium fit and finish. Honda is expected to announce the official pricing of both models later this month, with deliveries slated to commence in February.
