Tesla Model Y Prepares for Major Refresh Under Project Juniper

The Tesla Model Y is gearing up for its most significant update since its 2019 launch. Dubbed Project Juniper, the refresh retains the core design while introducing notable changes to keep Tesla’s best-selling electric vehicle (EV) competitive and globally dominant. Spotted camouflaged prototypes across the United States, Europe, and Asia indicate production might start soon in China, fueling speculation about the 2026 model year (2026MY).
