2024 Bajaj Pulsar F250 Gets a Price Tag, Heads to Dealerships

2024 Bajaj Pulsar F250

Bajaj’s 2024 Pulsar lineup welcomes the arrival of the F250, a street-focused motorcycle that shares the stage with its naked sibling, the Pulsar N250. While the launch itself went relatively unnoticed, the F250 has begun reaching dealerships across India with a starting price of Rs 1.51 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

New Colour Scheme and Familiar Features

Design-wise, the 2024 F250 retains the look of its predecessor with the key differentiator being a new black paint job complemented by red and white graphics. This refresh offers a visual distinction compared to the outgoing model. The most notable difference from the N250 lies in the F250’s semi-fairing, a design element that carves out its own aesthetic. Interestingly, Bajaj equips the N250 with a premium USD fork, while the F250 continues with a conventional telescopic fork, a move that likely keeps costs competitive.

Tech Upgrade and Performance Specs

Modernization comes in the form of a new digital instrument cluster featuring Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, a welcome upgrade for tech-savvy riders. Safety is further enhanced with the inclusion of three ABS modes – Rain, Road, and Sport – mirroring the functionalities of the N250.

Under the hood, the F250 employs a 249.07cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine churning out 24bhp at 8750rpm and 21.5Nm of torque at 6500rpm. This powerplant is paired with a five-speed gearbox. The chassis and wheels are shared with the N250, including the 140-section rear tire.

Bajaj’s Sales Strategy

By strategically pricing the F250 on par with the N250, Bajaj aims to capitalize on the F250’s semi-fairing appeal and potentially outshine the previous iteration that faced low demand. Whether this strategy proves successful remains to be seen, but the new F250 undoubtedly injects a fresh option into the 250cc motorcycle segment in India.
