Euler Motors, a leading manufacturer of electric commercial vehicles in India, has introduced its latest offering, the Storm EV. This four-wheeler LCV is powered by an electric powertrain and is available in two configurations: the Storm EV LongRange 200 for intercity use and the Storm EV T1250 for intracity operations. Both variants offer a payload capacity of 1,250 kg. Notably, the Euler Storm EV is the first LCV in India to feature Level-1 ADAS and boasts 10 other segment-first features.
Storm EV LongRange 200
Designed for intercity travel, the Storm EV LongRange 200 offers a real range of 200 km, making it ideal for cargo transportation between nearby cities. Its CCS fast charging capability allows for a 100 km range in just 15 minutes. With a 10-foot body length and 330 cubic feet of volumetric capacity, it can accommodate various cargo types. The 8-leaf rear suspension ensures smooth transportation for all loads.
Storm EV T1250
The Storm EV T1250 is tailored for intracity use and provides a real range of 140 km. It features a body length of 8.2 feet and a volumetric capacity of 220 or 260 cubic feet. The DC001 fast-charging protocol enables a 100 km range in 30 minutes. This model is available in two variants: one for dense loads like mortar, wood, and heavy cylinders, featuring a segment-first 4 mm armored skateboard chassis and an 8-leaf rear suspension, and another for regular loads.
Safety Features
Euler Motors prioritizes safety with the Storm EV, introducing ADAS in the LCV segment for the first time. The NVA (Night Vision Assist) feature provides clear imaging of obstacles in low-light conditions, enhancing driver safety. Additionally, front and reverse camera collision alerts help prevent accidents.
Pricing and Warranty
The Storm EV LongRange 200 is priced at ₹12.99 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi), while the Storm EV T1250 is competitively priced at ₹8.99 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Euler Motors also offers an industry-first extended 7-year / 2.0 lakh km warranty.
