Genesis Refines GV60 with Subtle Updates Ahead of Global Launch

Genesis has unveiled minor updates to the GV60, its premium electric crossover, ahead of its global launch later this year. This mid-cycle refresh focuses on subtle design refinements and the integration of new technology.

The GV60 retains its overall shape and size, with minor changes to the front and rear fascias. The front bumper has been redesigned for a sportier look, and the grille has been repositioned and reshaped for a sleeker appearance. New split headlights featuring Micro Lens Array technology enhance the vehicle’s visual appeal.

Interior enhancements include a new 27-inch Integrated Cockpit display, seamlessly merging the infotainment system and instrument cluster, inspired by the facelifted GV70. A redesigned steering wheel further elevates the interior experience.

Powertrain and Range

While specific powertrain details remain undisclosed, the updated GV60 is expected to build upon the existing powertrain options. The current model offers a 77.4 kWh battery pack, but with the Ioniq 5 and EV6 now featuring an 84 kWh battery as standard, it’s highly likely that the GV60 will receive this larger battery pack as well.

The current GV60 offers both rear-wheel-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive configurations with varying power outputs. Similar powertrain options can be expected for the updated model.

Availability

Sales of the updated GV60 will commence in Korea later this quarter, followed by its introduction in other global markets, including Australia, in the third quarter of the year. The US launch timeline has not yet been announced by Genesis.

These subtle yet significant updates to the GV60 further enhance its position as a premium electric crossover, offering a compelling blend of style, performance, and technology.
