Celestino Vietti (Red Bull KTM Ajo) reigned supreme at the Petronas Grand Prix of Malaysia, securing a dominant victory under the scorching Malaysian sun. Vietti led from the first corner, showcasing phenomenal pace throughout the 17-lap race. However, his lead fluctuated as he battled fatigue and made a crucial mistake mid-race.
Despite the hiccup, Vietti managed to regain control and extend his lead to a comfortable margin in the final stages. This resilience secured him his third victory of the season, crossing the line a commanding 1.486 seconds ahead of the pack.

Jorge Navarro (OnlyFans American Racing Team) impressed yet again while filling in for the injured Joe Roberts. Navarro, who started the weekend strong, continued his momentum by snatching second place. He capitalized on a mistake by Jake Dixon (CFMOTO RCB Aspar Team) on the final lap, securing his first podium finish since 2022.

Dixon, who was initially battling for a podium spot, had to settle for fourth after his last-lap error. Izan Guevara (CFMOTO RCB Aspar Team) capitalized on this misfortune, claiming the final podium position in a dramatic turn of events.
The race was not without its fair share of drama. Championship hopeful Ai Ogura (MT Helmet – MSI) looked strong initially, battling for the front positions. However, his challenge was cut short by a retirement on Lap 11.
