MG Cyberster: Electric Sports Car Coming to India

MG Motor India has confirmed that the highly anticipated Cyberster electric sports car will make its Indian debut in January 2025. This stylish and powerful EV will be exclusively available through MG’s premium ‘MG Select’ outlets.

Design and Features:

The Cyberster boasts a striking design with LED projector headlights, a distinctive front grille, and eye-catching scissor doors. The rear end features sleek LED taillights and a sporty diffuser.

Inside, the cabin is equally impressive, with a futuristic tri-screen setup, sports seats, and a flat-bottom steering wheel with paddle shifters. The car is also expected to offer a range of advanced features, including an electric sunroof, a premium audio system, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Powertrain and Performance:

The Cyberster will be available in two variants:

  • Single-Motor: This variant will deliver 340 PS and 475 Nm of torque, with a claimed range of 507 km.
  • Dual-Motor: This high-performance variant will produce a staggering 503 PS and 725 Nm of torque, with a claimed range of 443 km.

Both variants will be equipped with a 77 kWh battery pack and offer multiple driving modes to suit different preferences.

Pricing and Competition:

The MG Cyberster is expected to be priced between Rs 75 lakh and Rs 80 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it as a premium electric sports car. It will likely compete with the BMW Z4 and other upcoming electric sports cars in the Indian market.

With its stunning design, impressive performance, and advanced features, the MG Cyberster is set to make a significant impact on the Indian automotive market.
