Mahindra Electric SUVs

Mahindra & Mahindra is gearing up to launch five new electric SUVs in the Indian market. The first model to enter production will be the XUV.e8, an electric SUV based on the XUV700. This will be followed by the XUV.e9, BE.05, BE.07 and BE.09. All these upcoming Mahindra electric vehicles will be high-tech and feature-rich.

The specifications of the upcoming Mahindra EVs are yet to be revealed. However, the company has confirmed that the next electric SUV will have a battery with a capacity of up to 80 kWh, providing a power output between 230 and 350 horsepower. The range should be around 500 km or more on a single battery charge. Additionally, all Mahindra electric vehicles will be equipped with all-wheel drive.

Mahindra XUV.e8

Mahindra’s first electric SUV, the Mahindra XUV.e8, will be based on its popular ICE-powered counterpart, the XUV700. The XUV.e8 will have slightly larger dimensions than the XUV700, with a 7mm longer wheelbase. Overall, it will be 4,740 mm long, 1,900 mm wide, and 1,760 mm tall.

Mahindra XUV.e9

The Mahindra XUV.e9 is another upcoming electric SUV and is not based on any existing model. It will have a coupe-like design with seating for five passengers. The XUV.e9 is expected to share the same electric powertrain as the XUV.e8. Design highlights include a closed grille, bumper-mounted headlights, LED lighting elements, gloss black body cladding, and a short rear end.
