The all-new fourth-generation Skoda Superb is set to make its Indian debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo in January 2025. Alongside the Superb, Skoda will also showcase the new Kodiaq and the performance-oriented Octavia RS at the expo.
Currently, the outgoing third-generation Superb is available in India in a single top-spec L&K variant priced at Rs. 54 lakh (ex-showroom). To clear existing inventory, Skoda is offering significant discounts of up to Rs. 18 lakh on the current model, effectively bringing the price down to around Rs. 38 lakh.
The new Superb boasts a refreshed design, enhanced features, and updated engine options globally. While the Euro-spec model offers a plug-in hybrid powertrain with an all-electric range of 100 km and a new 1.5-liter mild-hybrid option, the India-spec model is expected to retain the powerful 2.0-liter TSI petrol engine producing 201 bhp and 330 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The new Skoda Superb will compete with a range of premium offerings in the Indian market, including the Hyundai Tucson, BYD Atto 3, BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, and the recently launched Toyota Camry Hybrid.
