Honda has unveiled a refreshed version of its popular commuter motorcycle, the Unicorn. While the update brings minor changes, including an LED headlamp and a new digital instrument cluster, the price has been increased by nearly ₹8,000 to ₹1.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The 2025 Unicorn retains its familiar design and 162.71 cc, single-cylinder engine, which continues to produce 13 bhp and 14.58 Nm of torque. The engine now complies with the latest OBD2B emission norms.
The notable updates include an all-LED headlamp, replacing the previous bulb unit, and a new fully digital instrument console. While the console offers essential information, it lacks the Bluetooth connectivity found in the SP160’s 4.2-inch TFT display. However, a convenient USB-C charging port is now included.
The Unicorn’s known for its smooth ride and reliability, and these minor updates aim to maintain its appeal in the competitive commuter segment. However, the significant price increase may raise concerns for some buyers.
