Nissan Magnite

Nissan Motor India is set to unveil the Magnite facelift on October 4. This marks a significant update for the compact SUV, which was first introduced to the Indian market in 2020.

While the exact details of the facelift are yet to be revealed, it is expected to feature several enhancements to both the exterior and interior design. However, the powertrain options will remain unchanged.

Customers will have a choice of two engines: a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 72 horsepower and 96 Nm of torque, and a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine generating 100 horsepower and 160 Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual, 5-speed AMT, and CVT.

The current pricing for the Nissan Magnite ranges from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 11.11 lakh (ex-showroom). With the facelift, we can expect a slight increase in prices, possibly ranging from Rs 6.50 lakh to Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Magnite facelift will continue to compete with other popular compact SUVs in the Indian market, including the Citroen Basalt, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Renault Kiger, Hyundai Exter, and Tata Punch.
