The Mahindra Scorpio-N Adventure Edition is a beast built for conquering tough terrain. New metal bumpers, smaller than the standard version, improve approach and departure angles. The front bumper comes equipped for serious off-roading, featuring a tow hitch, recovery hooks, lifting eyes, auxiliary lights, and even a winch.
A black roof rack adds functionality, while the SUV rides on new 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in premium all-terrain tires. Wider wheel arches with additional cladding accommodate the new shoes. The rear design remains largely unchanged, but incorporates the new, more robust bumper.
Under the hood, the Mahindra Scorpio-N Adventure Edition retains the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine, tuned for 172 PS and 400 Nm of peak torque. In South Africa, it is paired exclusively with a 6-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels. For enhanced off-road capability, the Adventure Edition boasts a rear axle mechanical locking differential, electronic brake-locking differential, hill start assist, and hill descent control. Selectable terrain modes including Normal, Grass, Gravel, Snow, Mud, and Sand allow drivers to optimize performance for various conditions.
The new Mahindra Scorpio-N Adventure Edition is priced at R644,499 (approximately Rs 29.29 lakh).
