Triumph Speed 400 offer extended, priced at Rs 2.23 lakh until 31 December

Shifting gears from the automotive to the motorcycle realm, Triumph’s foray into the Indian market with the Speed 400 has been a significant development. Launched in July this year, the Speed 400 marked Triumph’s first made-in-India product, priced initially at Rs 2.33 lakh.

Introductory Offer Extension: A Strategic Move

Triumph’s strategic move to extend the introductory offer on the Speed 400 until 31 December further solidifies its position in the Indian motorcycle market. The discounted price of Rs 2.23 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 bookings has garnered substantial attention and consumer interest.

Collaborative Development: Bajaj Auto and Triumph Unite

The Speed 400 and its sibling, the Scrambler 400 X, are products of a collaborative effort between Bajaj Auto and Triumph. This joint venture underscores the global cooperation driving the motorcycle industry, with the 400 twins set to be available across Triumph World showrooms in over 40 cities.

Technical Prowess of the Speed 400: A Closer Look

The heart of the Speed 400 lies in its 398.15cc, liquid-cooled motor, delivering a robust 39.5bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque of 39Nm at 6,500rpm. The inclusion of features like ride-by-wire throttle, full-LED lighting, dual-channel ABS, and a semi-digital instrument cluster positions the Speed 400 as a technologically advanced and enticing option for motorcycle enthusiasts.
