Royal Enfield is set to unveil its highly anticipated Classic 650 Twin motorcycle in India early next year. While rumors suggested a launch at Motoverse 2024, the company seems to have a different plan.
To maximize impact and cater to a wider audience, Royal Enfield is prioritizing the launch of the Goan Classic 350. Considering the higher sales volume of 350cc motorcycles compared to 650cc models, especially in the Indian market, this strategic move makes sense.
The 650cc platform, on the other hand, is more popular in markets like Europe and the US, where consumers often prefer high-performance motorcycles. In India, the entire 350cc range of Royal Enfield continues to dominate sales due to its accessible price point.
An intriguing detail about the Goan Classic 350 is the inclusion of tubeless spoke wheels, a feature that is likely to make it the most expensive 350cc model in the company’s lineup.
The Classic 650 Twin is expected to be positioned between the Shotgun 650 and the Super Meteor 650 in terms of pricing. However, the top-end variant of the Classic 650 is likely to be priced closer to the base model of the Super Meteor 650.
