Hero MotoCorp has made a significant impact at the 2024 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy, with a series of exciting new motorcycle launches.

In addition to the second-generation XPulse 210, powered by the liquid-cooled engine from the Karizma XMR 210, and a new naked quarter-liter streetfighter, Hero has unveiled the updated Mavrick 440 and the all-new Karizma XMR 250. Both motorcycles are set to be launched in India soon.

The Karizma XMR 250 is an upgraded version of the XMR 210, featuring sleeker bodywork, integrated winglets, a split LED headlamp, new graphics, and air curtains. It is powered by a new 250 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that produces 30 horsepower and 25 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed transmission with a slipper and assist clutch. The motorcycle also comes with adjustable clip-on handlebars and a TFT instrument console.

The suspension setup includes upside-down front forks and a pre-load adjustable monoshock at the rear, while braking duties are handled by disc brakes with dual-channel ABS. The Karizma XMR 250 will compete with motorcycles like the KTM RC 200, Bajaj Pulsar RS 200, and Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.

The updated Mavrick 440 sports a new paint scheme and a golden-colored inverted fork. It features a TFT screen borrowed from the Harley-Davidson X440 and is two kilograms lighter than the previous model. The 440 cc single-cylinder, air- and oil-cooled engine remains unchanged, producing 27 horsepower and 36 Nm of torque. It is paired with a six-speed transmission.

The 2025 Mavrick 440 is built on a trellis frame and offers a seat height of 800 mm. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and has a ground clearance of 175 mm.

In addition to these launches, Hero is expected to unveil the concept of its flagship Xpulse 420 at the same event.
