Aprilia Tuono 457: Unveiled on Indian Website, Launch Expected Soon

Aprilia Tuono 457

Aprilia India has intensified anticipation for its upcoming streetfighter, the Tuono 457, by listing it on their official website. Following its debut at the EICMA motor show in November, the Tuono 457 is poised for an Indian launch in the coming month. The dedicated page on the Aprilia India website now provides a glimpse into the key features and specifications of this exciting new model.

Distinct from its fully-faired sibling, the RS 457, the Tuono 457 embraces a more aggressive streetfighter persona. The sharp, angular lines of the RS 457 give way to a more muscular and imposing stance. The Tuono 457 features a distinctive LED headlight unit with striking L-shaped DRLs and a prominent lower lip.

At the heart of the Tuono 457 lies the same potent 457cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that powers the RS 457. This engine delivers a robust 46.9bhp and 43.5Nm of torque, seamlessly mated to a six-speed gearbox. Expect to see features like a bi-directional quickshifter to enhance the riding experience.

The Tuono 457 is equipped with a comprehensive suite of modern features, including LED lighting, traction control, multiple riding modes, ABS, and a sophisticated color TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. The motorcycle boasts a well-balanced chassis with adjustable USD front forks and a monoshock rear suspension. Braking duties are handled by single discs at both ends, providing confident stopping power.

The Aprilia Tuono 457 is set to stir up the competitive landscape in the mid-size naked bike segment, vying for attention alongside rivals like the Yamaha MT-03, KTM 390 Duke, and BMW G 310 R.
