Ducati has unveiled its 2025 models of the Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2, both powered by a new 890 cc L-twin engine, replacing the previous 955 cc superquadro engine. The new engine delivers 120 horsepower and 93.3 Nm of torque, while the motorcycles are significantly lighter than their predecessors, weighing in at 179 kg (Panigale V2) and 178 kg (Streetfighter V2).
The design of both motorcycles remains largely similar to the outgoing models, with a few notable changes, including a conventional aluminum swingarm and twin-port underseat exhausts. The Panigale V2 has a seat height of 837 mm, while the Streetfighter V2 has a seat height of 838 mm.
Both motorcycles are equipped with a comprehensive suite of electronic rider aids, such as various riding modes, cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, and a bi-directional quick-shifter. Optional features include heated grips, turn-by-turn navigation, cruise control, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
The top-spec ‘S’ variants of the Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2 feature fully adjustable Öhlins suspension at the front and rear, while the standard models come with a Marzocchi fork and a KYB monoshock. Both models have a 120 mm front suspension travel and a 160 mm rear suspension travel.
Braking duties are handled by twin 320 mm semi-floating discs with Brembo Monobloc M50 piston calipers at the front and a 245 mm disc with a 2-piston caliper at the rear. Both motorcycles have a 15-liter fuel tank and 17-inch alloy wheels shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4 tires.
While the current Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2 are priced at ₹21 lakh and ₹18.5 lakh in India, respectively, it is expected that the new models will be priced more competitively.
