Hero MotoCorp has recently unveiled the all-new Destini 125, a significant update to its popular scooter. Replacing the previous model that was on sale since 2018, the new Destini boasts a completely revamped design language that aims to give it a more premium and aspirational appeal.
One of the most striking changes is the redesigned front fascia. The new Destini features a modern LED headlight with a projector lamp, along with a metal fender. The scooter also gets larger 12-inch wheels at both ends, enhancing its overall stance and stability.
While the underlying 125cc engine remains the same, producing 9bhp of peak power and 10.4Nm of torque, Hero claims that the engine has been refined for smoother operation. The scooter is also expected to deliver a fuel efficiency of 59kmpl according to ICAT ratings, although real-world figures may vary.
The new Destini 125 will be available in two variants—VX and ZX—and five color options. While the exact pricing has not been disclosed yet, it is anticipated to be slightly higher than its predecessor.
With its refreshed design and improved features, the Hero Destini 125 aims to cater to customers seeking a stylish and practical scooter. It will be interesting to see how the market responds to this updated model.
