Ducati Hypermotard 950 SP India Launch: Price, Specs, Features

Ducati Hypermotard 950 SP

Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has officially launched the Hypermotard 950 SP in India, adding another thrilling option to its already impressive lineup. Priced at an adrenaline-pumping Rs. 19.05 lakh (ex-showroom), the SP variant sits above the RVE model, promising an even more exhilarating riding experience.

Designed for those seeking the ultimate in performance and handling, the Hypermotard 950 SP boasts an array of premium components. Standout features include fully adjustable Ohlins suspension, lightweight Marchesini forged alloy wheels, and a distinctive carbon fiber finish. These enhancements elevate the motorcycle’s track-focused character, making it a dream for enthusiasts who crave maximum control and agility.

Under the skin, the SP retains the same potent 937cc, L-twin engine as its sibling, delivering a thrilling 114bhp and 96Nm of torque. This powerplant, shared with other Ducati models like the DesertX and SuperSport S, is tuned to its peak performance in the Hypermotard, ensuring an exhilarating ride.

While the SP variant offers superior handling and a more aggressive stance, it does come with a trade-off. The higher-spec suspension setup results in a seat height increased by 20mm to 890mm, which might be intimidating for shorter riders. To complement the bike’s track-oriented nature, Ducati has equipped the SP with grippier Pirelli Supercorsa SP tires, providing exceptional traction on the race track.

The Hypermotard 950 SP is more than just a performance upgrade; it’s a statement of intent. With its striking new paint scheme, carbon fiber accents, and top-tier components, this motorcycle is undoubtedly a head-turner. Ducati enthusiasts and adrenaline junkies alike will be eagerly anticipating the opportunity to experience the thrill of riding the Hypermotard 950 SP on Indian roads.
